We accept most major insurance plans. Call (513) 860-4600 and our front desk will check your coverage before you book.
Our functional medicine–informed care for cognitive decline and related conditions goes through your health insurance, the same way primary care visits do. Here is how it works:
How billing works
We bill your health insurance for office visits and lab work, including functional medicine care. Coverage depends on your plan, and some tests, treatments or supplements may not be covered. Call us before your visit and we'll help you check your benefits. You are responsible for any charges your plan doesn't cover.
This kind of care often involves more lab work and more follow-up visits than a typical sick visit. Before you start, ask us which parts of your plan may apply, and ask your insurance company about your deductible, copays and coinsurance. Learn more about our cognitive decline care.
Call our front desk at (513) 860-4600. We'll look up your plan with you. You can also call the member services number on the back of your insurance card to confirm your benefits directly with your plan.
Good questions to ask your plan include:
Insurance plans often treat two kinds of visits differently.
If you bring up a new problem during a preventive visit, or ask your provider to manage an ongoing condition, part of that visit may be billed as a problem-focused visit. Depending on your plan, that part may have its own copay, coinsurance or deductible. This is how many insurance plans work. If you're unsure, ask your provider or the front desk at the start of your visit.
If you don't have insurance, or you choose not to use it, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before your care. Read our Good Faith Estimate notice to learn more, and call the front desk to ask for an estimate.
Our billing is handled by a billing company. If you have a question about a bill you received, call (607) 760-1326. Have your bill and your insurance card in front of you when you call.
